Test - new google maps plugin in FC 2.2.0

Dear all

with FC 2.0, i have tested the new plugin google maps

Idea was to replace in my website component gmapFP by FC
Should be OK if this topic
How to show items (category view) in a google map ?

With GmapFP, I can create areas linked to FC items
each area has an ID
I can create a map with all areas (linked to each article)
i can create also with gmapfp content plugin a link between FC item and gmapfp area (Field with ID)

this is what i want to replace with FC

It will be possible ?

Hello

1. work on making properties optional (like in other FC fields e.g. image/gallery) will be done in next version v2.2.1, too late fo v2.2.0


2. about other enhancements to the field these will be examine in a future version too,


we try to avoid other changes to v2.2.0 BETA unless very important, we must release new version
