Hello

i have checked, elasticslide does not add large thumbnails into the code
it only refers to the large thumbnails via data-large=""

but maybe it tries to preload large thumbs !
i will need to check

Thank you very much, i tried changing to one of the others like multibox but same issue of loading time being very slow.

disable (remove field) from the FLEXIcontent item layout or category layout
is there a difference in page loading ?

Hi,

I disable the field but no difference in page loading. I guess its not the gallery causing the loading issue.

please enable Joomla Debug in global configuration and look at page creation times
