Yes,
the new tag cloud links to the tag view have a new variable:

http://sef_tag_link?module=28

the tag view then loads and uses the configuration of the module with id 28

this is really necessary as we really need some way to customize the output of the tag view passing data from the module (of course all tag view parameters are now present into the new tag cloud module).

Maybe i forgot to remind that now the tags and favourites view now support output any number of extra fields
