Creation of various Access Levels for Type

Is it possible to consider having different access levels for different types.

For example - I have different Access Levels

Silver, Gold and Platinum.

I have created Types - Type_Silver, Type_Gold and Type_Platinum. Can users of the Gold Access Level have access to only Type_Gold?

Cheers!

Hello,
the Content types already have an access level but it is currently unused, is that what you mean?

The Content Type has an access level for viewing. I am looking at permissions for creating and editing permissions for specific content types.

Cheers!

Thanks for the prompt reply.

The site that I am creating will be an online dining guide. Different groups can create or edit different types of content with different sets of fields.

Hope this provides more clarity

Cheers!

What about defining which field can be edit in item form by depending on Joomla user Group

e.g. usergroup1 cannot (in item form) give value to field15
