Hi Everybody,
First : Happy New Year !!

So, for this first post of the year on my side, i have 2 questions :

- I saw on some point of the site that will be a pro version of Flexicontent. Is this already available ? Is there some details ?
- I really need a working export function for some work : is there a way to change separator as i wrote in my previous post or not ? I have about 2000 items to export in csv and it is really important for me...

Thanks for the help !
Xavier

Hello

This is currently not configurable

The CSV export is made to be read by Microsoft Excel and similar,
why do you want to change the separator ?

Hi Georges,
I would like to put in example :
%% to separate the field
^^ as text separator
Like this, i'm quite sure to be ok for the export and don't have "mixed" columns in results.
Thanks Georges :)

Hello,

I export items with FC (see attachment).
I have the same bug than Chabi01 for some reason, with only few lines.
Try to import the document in Excel, Access or Open office calc, and you see that many lines are broken (4 lines exactly).
It was caused by the Description core field.
If we disable it to the export, all is working good.

If I change the order of Description core field in administration, it seems the result of csv file is different : the broken lines aren't the same.

For now, I can correct this bug with few search and replace with Notepad++ (extend mode) :

\r\r" => replaced by => "
\r\r, => replaced by => ",
,,<p> => replaced by => ,,"<p>

So, maybe it will be nice if we can choose the delimiter of field and item. (%%, ^^, &&, °°, and all that we want.
Unless that this bug with description field may be corrected. :)

Thank in advance for your answer. ;)

Hello

you need to define custom seperators for export too

the thing is that the original purpose of the CSV export was not to re-import it to FLEXIContent
but only to open it in excel or via other import tool
