Customising multiple category layout to display filtered item

I want to hide some items in multiple category layout on the basis of field when page is loaded (not on selecting some value from dropdown of filter).

Exactly that is what the parameter i mentioned does
- it can create hidden locked filter values

why don't you try it ?

this feature has been implemented for a long time more than 2 years

And to make it more clear
- you do not need to display the field filter at all (usually people doing locked filter values, they do not show the field filter)

I have created a flexicontent field plugin to upload CSV file. Data of CSV file is stored in a table of databse, one column of table has username. I want to filter listing of category on the basis of these username stored in table.

How do I write SQL query in "Locked Filter values" of "Field Filters"..??

my answer is that if a field implements filtered
- then you can have filter multi-category views using the parameter i mentioned above

so does your field implement filtering ?

- is you field or "file" field
- or you have written a new custom field type
