mmm, about menu link to item submission form being broken, maybe i missed some file in the commit,
in fact the item submission form is improved to support primary category and allow to edit template parameters in the frontend, and also to respect ACL in all cases, i will test on new installation too on J2.5

about download package, despite that this version being the final version and despite having many bug-fixes, I did not want to make a download package without chance to test a little more.
But if you want to use it now, see this post for retrieving SVN version:
flexicontent.org/forum/index.php ... =viewtopic

Will do by weekend and call it RC3 and as we said this will be final, as i said this version after closing bugs.

A NOTE: ACL is fixed, but in backend, it needs just a little more work to respect ACL in all cases, e.g. in category management is 100%, but it 90% in items/fields management

Regards

Hello,
I use Joomla 2.5 with the latest flexicontent Version 2.0 - RC3 r1151 -- [for J1.7/2.5]

By trying to create a new category in the backend, I got the following error message:
"FLEXI_NO_ACCESS"

I'm logged in as a Super User with all access permissions allowed.

Regards

Just today i had chance to start testing with J2.5 and to track down any bugs.

The good, is that i can reproduce the errors, there seem to be some change on ACL between J1.7 and J2.5???

Final testing is close but i cannot do it now.

Please wait for next revision, i will have this fixed.

About creating NEW category in file
administrator/components/com_flexicontent/views/category/view.html.php
there are some unnecessary checks since, Access is now check by the controller and by view.

So replace all lines like:
Code:
$mainframe->redirect('index.php?option=com_flexicontent', JText::_( 'FLEXI_NO_ACCESS' ));
with
Code:
//$mainframe->redirect('index.php?option=com_flexicontent', JText::_( 'FLEXI_NO_ACCESS' ));

A little patient final version is very close
