Image field does not upload

Image field does not upload was created by Rooney

Hi, I am using the image field in FC2 and try to upload new images in items but nothing happens... There is no upload button or similar. Also, how can I organize images. There is nothing like a image file manager.

Am I missing something basic here?

did you test on other browser ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

I tried Firefox, Chrome and Safari in the latest version. I am on Mac Lion. Latest JC2 for Joomla 1.7.3 installed.

The user must have permission to upload,

Check that the user group of the user has permission to upload files.

mmm and i think this has been asked before , maybe we should put a text in red "You have no upload permission"

or something

Well. I am Super User and I can and I am allowed to upload files (even images) in the same page (Update: via file field), just images in the image field do not work!

In last update RC1a, i had added some path header in the urls , e.g. had broken the minigallery "add image" in the frontend

Is the problem in frontend or backend or both? i ll test
