codewarrior wrote: I had to create a Flexicontent field for a widgetkit. But if I need let's say 4 widgetkits, I have to create 4 fields and affect them in the Joomla article editor.

I understood that a field can only be positionned within templates. Or is there a way to place them in the article text (ie : in tables or DIV) ???

aaa , i see , i was speaking of content plugin code, when i said to place it ... where you need,

to answer your question, you cannot place other FLEXIcontent fields, inside another field e.g. inside item's description,

mmm for this we could create replacement feature, that would replace a text e.g. {current_item:fieldB:display}

but we would need to detect loops e.g.

fieldA includes fieldB includes fieldC include fieldA,
this would create an endless loop

Currently you cannot do this, although i can understand the usefulness of this.

We already have an open enhancement task for this:
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/i ... ail?id=177

I have a similar issue with YooTheme Pro. They have a page builder which I would like my client to use on some of the more static pages as the layout functions are amazing. My problem is that this only works in com_content scope. Although I could create a special type for YooTheme which allows routing to com_content from the frontend, I can't see how to access to the com_content scope in the backend (index.php?option=com_content), or at least the com_content edit form. Is there any way to do so?

Kind regards,
Terry
