There are many javascript files loaded i cannot be sure if there is some conflict with them,

try loading less stuff into your page and to see if it works and start readding them one by one to find out what is conflicting ...

When I right-pulse on each thumbnail, and I choose to open the image in a new window, the following error occurs (see image)

ok you found reason,

latest phpThumb 1.7.10 / 1.7.11 uses this function to secure the commands sent to the unix shell

and in your case the PHP escapeshellarg() is disabled,
which it should not be done as it is used to escape commands sent to the operating system and thus making your software safer , while allowing it to achieve the desired functionality too

ok, I already talked to my server and just enable the "scapehell ..." and the gallery looks perfectly.

You know what has caused this function is disabled?
