Hello,

How can I change or edit notification layout to add some more custom fields?
Adapting template system would be great!!

Well

we can add a TEXTAREA parameter with replacements

this will have 2 methods to generate notification
exactly like relation field:

1. Replacement:
__default_text__

which will replace the text created via parameters

2. Enter HTML with partial replacements that will replace other stuff ...

the code that generates the needed variable is already implemented so effectively
we would only need to add
a. the textarea parameter
b. the str_replace for stuff like __new_categories__ , __old_categories__ , __item_title__ etc to replace the stuff now displayable via parameters

these can of course include language strings e.g. for language string FLEXI_HELLO, we would replace %%FLEXI_HELLO%%

about custom fields ... maybe only RAW value ... e.g. this will be useful for text or for select fields
