Actually it was needed to more places

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,
You ask about elastislide, yes
but i think the other one is similar and seem more capable, also maybe it will be better with autoresize regardless of position type of its container

Hmmm... don't really understand.
The new Elastislide does work "as responsive".
As you know, container's width must be 100% or it shouldn't be set.

-- the problem exists if there is at least one PARENT (any parent up to root) floating block container without a specified width

... and we cannot always set a width to these floating blocks, but i think i solved the problem by adding to all floating containers:

Code:

max-width:100% - their horizontal padding;

... this is done in flexicontent HTML,
but if we come up to Joomla template not setting width for a floating container then the problem will appear ...

PS: i have managed to make the Responsive Image (elastic) Gallery to be field+item specific,
so that we can have multiple instances of the gallery inside a single page, and same for photoswipe ...
