[lazyload ..] MiniGallery does not show images or thumbnails

So unification is the primary reason! Bringing all of them to use the common folder specific image upload or a reusable database upload.

there are really few solutions that come close to our image gallery in regards to being a content-integrated solution,

about better presentation, surely there are better ones,

but latest additions of JS galleries , does close the gap

... anyway, reason of discussing these is not just to justify choices and trade-offs , but to also get ideas or identify things that might be wrong approach

The two versions of Elastislide -

I am using Elastislide js gallery in the image gallery field and on the front end i could see two option - one that shows the gallery with thumb nails and the other that does not and the user is given a choice to click to make a choice.

The but the gallery with the thumbnails kind of appears first, i mean by default!
Could you please tell me the code that i need to change if i have to make the elastislide to appear without thumbnails first!

a special new FORM field element (= parameter of configuration) was added in v2.1.0 the 'fclayout' which allows loading external XML files by calling a server task,

(this new field is already used for universal content module layouts to show layout specific parameters, e.g. the new carousel layout has parameters specific to it)

... same will be done for the Gallery layouts used in image gallery field, to allow customizations that are not common, but instead are specific to each JS Gallery (=we are calling the selection of gallery, "gallery layout")

what you ask can be done is easy (add a PAGE ready event to make a call to the click function of the button) but it is a hack, i would rather that you wait to make use of image field configuration per gallery layout, we will be implemented some time in the very near future.
