Hello

FLEXIcontent is built for general usage, imagine the cost of built FLEXIcontent (or cost of Joomla) for developing it for only a specific site,

-- surely FLEXIcontent has a lot more features than what you need, it is powerful, and most features are easy to use, but other require knowledge and experience (that is why web-developers still have a job ... and make a living) your experience with FLEXIcontent is not wasted, you may be able to use it in a different site !! and has a lot of features you have not discovered full, e.g. FLEXIcontent has a filtering system that will not find elsewhere (combines speed in large site, full faceted behavior and many alternatives for filter appearance and filter combinations)

and i understand that 1-2 particular features are important for you,

- about the loadmodule i am sure it was configuration, or e.g. the module chooses not to display content yes module do have such code, every time we had this it was not due to a bug, e.g. a web-developer would look into module code and learn in minutes why a module is not displayed

- about categories, i think i misunderstood your original description of what you wanted to do ...

Best Regards

Hello,

I had uninstall FLEXIcontent. After i uninstall it, suddenly an error message appear on my module:

Table 'prestijb_eve2s.rs8qb_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT
a.id [1], a.name [2], a.parent
FROM rs8qb_k2_categories AS a
WHERE a.id [1] > 0 AND a.published IN (0,1)

ORDER BY a.parent, a.ordering

I never install K2 before this. What should I do?

Hello

please consider these:

1. FLEXIcontent will not create DB table

DBPREFIX_k2_categories

2. The error you describe is NOT given by FLEXIcontent code

-- So this error is not due to FLEXIcontent

If some module mistakes FLEXIcontent for K2, then the author of the module must be contacted

And you say "module" which module ? from which author ?

Hello

ok but you don't mentioned what else you did in your site
e.g. did you install ContentBuilder ??

And the mistake is clearly inside the module, and since the error is specific (wrong DB table queried) it should be quite easy for module Author to fix !!

I found 2 bugs in the module: (maybe more exist)
(please contact author with my message)

(the first one seems to be your case)
- When getting popular items for ContentBuilder the DB table:
dpprefix_k2_categories
is queried

- When getting popular items for ZOO the DB table:
dpprefix_k2_extra_fields
is queried
