Yes a filter with the item titles, in this case the authors. Is this possible? I really need this feature.

Hello

this filter was not implemented, (i think it is implementable) because it was not considered useful

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
-- Add your voice to the FLEXIcontent JED listing with a 5-star...

I think I've found a way but I need some help.

I can create a Select Multiple field with a SQL query that lists all titles of the type authors.

L'ets say the type ID is 2, what would be the SQL query?

you may try something like (please correct if it has errors)

SELECT i.title AS text, i.id AS value FROM #__content AS i JOIN #__flexicontent_items_ext AS e ON i.id=e.item_id WHERE e.typeid=NNNNN
