Thank you kindly for offering help. The mycarousel.php file is what I am using.

screencast.com/t/RUKHMLVbReR are the 2 fields. When someone clicks on the image in the carousel here: screencast.com/t/HYimfCWp I want it to go to the page they put in the SLIDE URL LINK field I made.

I know it's a simple piece of code. I just don't know what the snippet would be.

do you use feature option or only standart item ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

You gladly help everyone else here with tons of php code and you can't help me at all by telling me what php code to put in this carasoul template for my specific instance? I'm confused then what the purpose of the forum is then.

Hello

please please don't say such words

1. there are several threads for custom code that were not giving custom code

2. please appreciate our time here and our free time to be humans

3. do not put a stress to us, for the fact we had some time to spare to answer the forum some particular days

4. please respect us, our time to also make a living,

- what we should do first do our days work? for which we are paid, spend time with our family or provide free development ??

5. many people have stopped forum answers or providng free software because of the above

we already do more than our capabilities in answering this forum,

6. you ask for help, will you help us too ??
you can by appreciating our efforts:

the support here is given it is not demanded or "blackmailed", please excuse the word

6. a big percentage of custom code answers in the forum
- can become part of the CORE
- or a new FAQ article,
- or for the getting more knowledge on our part
individual free code support is impossible

7. we are commited to providing bug support (*inside the software)
-- other developers do not give this for free (the bug support,
-- anything else e.g. custom code, etc is done on base of how much time we have, and our good health both mind, soul and body

thanks a lot for your understanding

Regards

I'm sorry if that came across wrong. I was frustrated because I see alot of help in here for other MUCH more complicated things and the person here did not even try to answer my question. It seems my question so simple. What is the code to add a custom field into the module correctly... because everything I tried from your tutorials did not work.

I do understand you are releasing this for free, but that is your choice. People would GLADLY pay an annual cost or monthly cost to access real support. Other CCK's do just this. Have you thought of offering this? Hire 1 person to answer support and charge an annual cost for this support?

This is the ONLY place to get help. What is someone supposed to do then in my situation? If I keep waiting for weeks for an answer here, and no answer is given, I could have spent that time hiring someone right away. If you need a week to answer but I don't know that, I am just assuming it's been lost, so why not try to write again? It's lose/lose for end user like me.

Again, I am sorry if that came across wrong. I guess I'm just not clear on what someone should do here if they get no help? The problem is we don't know if you will or won't provide help and because software deals with real world, live sites, real money... it makes things more frustrating if we don't get any guidance.
