Multilangual support...and magic !!

ok i see about module, ok just it changes frontend interface / (and possibly content language too depending if language filtering is enabled only "current language" items are shown)



now about values being "language filtered" aka translated,

1. the option to disable translation is new and it is in v2.2.0 RC1+ (or since 2009 + ?)

it is called:
Language filter values
Popup Description:
Apply language filter JText

we have tested it to work for text field only (see 3 below)


2. it only exists in text field, in future we may add in more fields


3. try using RC2a, because it may have been "language filtered" aka translated, in 2 places but that was in filtering

Ok, i update to 2.2.0 r2044
Then, something is really strange : i have 2 text fields (simple, with multiple values).
In the first and in the second, i have the days (Monday, Tuesday,..).
In the first field, the values are translated in french
In the second field, they remain in english !
I have checked : i have the same config for both...

I continue to try to understand the "why and how".
Anyway, thanks for the help

No ! It's ok !
It was the cache.

I continue testing...

All seems to works...
So the solution is to use the latest version release of FC (or to change the translation

I will come back (for sure !) if i find any thing
