Hello

it is together with the other "current" category parameters

1. in universal module configuration and inside TAB(/slider in J2.5):
"Category List"

2. Find section:
Current Category (item view)

3. then edit parameter:
Current category is
- Category of Item, in item view
- Category shown, in category view
- Both

thank you.

I have found the parameter.

It's not working in category page.

I have tried 2 option :

- both
- category shown in category view

I never display the module in the category page. I always display the module in the article view (even in category shown in category view).

best regards

Michel

To be sure that problem doesn't come from a bad position, I have created a 'test module' in the same position. The test module is displayed.

1. Does not work ?

2.

I never display the module in the category page

-- the parameter is meant for category view, so to test if it works you must display the module in category view

-- the above is 1 topic, the other topic is that obviously we have a miss-understanding, i don't know what you want to do

Hello

It doesn't work.
The page is a category view page.
As exemple this url : koltora.net/index.php/colloques

at the left top of the page you can see 'test module' above the title of the category 'COLLOQUE' but not the UCM module.

If you click on one of the video (for instance : c39 ebydiya (the second video with url : koltora.net/index.php/colloques/ ... 39-ebidiya )

you can see a the top left side above test module the text 'VIDEOS SIMILAIRES' with a select list field containing all the videos from the same category. Of course clicking on one of the title in the select field, opens the corresponding video page.

I want to do the same thing in the category page, to allows internauts who know which video they are looking for, to get it immediatly without the obligation to surf through the different pages of the category.

best regards

Michel

Hello

i see,

i understand now that the featured added is not irrelevant, it customizes showing category data, and does not use the category to select items

1. please update (again) to latest and look for new options inside CATEGORY SCOPE:
Set behaviour to "Items in active category"

2. You do not need to enable "Apply configuration per category" in Category listing
