[SOLVED] [SH404SEF does not support link generation in backend] SH404SEF and Flexicontent item preview link in backend

Hi everybody,

Now, i have a little issue with one of my website.
I use FC2.2.0r2044, J!3.3.6 and SH4044.4.6.2271

All is working fine except one thing : in the backend, i have a preview button and if i click on it, i have a 404 error (shown by sh404) as the url is translated but not working in sh404.
For example, i have this url :
mywebsite.net/en/news/item/117-l ... ?preview=1

And this generate an error as SH404 doesnt know this url...
Is there any way to prevent this ?
I wrote on the sh404 forum but have no response until now.

try to update to 2.2.2RC1 (doing a backup)

updated to 2.2.2.rc1.
No change for this : the url in the preview button lead to a 404 error...

there has been SEF URL fixes since FC2.2.0r2044

I have a new install of Flexicontent on a new website : the preview works well.
So the problem is obviously linked to Sh404...

a frontend link generation while in backend is a little different,


-- and SH404SEF code is not called while generating link in backend !!

maybe solution is to generate a NON-SEF link for previewing
e.g. detect that SH404SEF link is active and generate non-SEF links

First, i don't really know how to do that

The link on the preview button is obviously allready translated by Joomla rooter as i see readable url (with the category name and item name).
When the url is shown on the frontend, sh404 try to find in his url pool the correct url and as the url is not in his database, he shows the 404 page.

It's not possible to deactivated sh404 for some url : if i deactivate sh404, that's for all url of Flexicontent, and that's not possible as i need sh404 for special treatment on my urls and for all the urls for Flexicontent.

If the url is human readable, that's because the joomla router and the .htaccess is active, and again, i cannot deactivate it.

Have you an idea ? I'm sure i'm not the only one in this situation...

Is anybody have a clue for this preview and sh404 ?

In my admin, i have an article.
When i click on the preview of an article, i have for example this results :
sportactive.net/en/site_content/ ... ?preview=1
And sh404 show me an 404 page...

If i disabled sh404, it works, but i can't disable sh404...
