Me again :)
I give you the response of the support guy for sh404 :

Hello,
I use Sh404 for a long time and Flexicontent CCK as well.
In article management, there is a link for preview : the link to preview doesn't work anymore with this two component.

On Flexicontent board, the lead developer told me the issue is from SH404... Can you help me for this ?

To give you all for this, i have all these links :
www.flexicontent.org/forum/20-general-su....html?start=10#54284

anything-digital.com/forum/extension/sh4...link-in-article.html

This is a real problem : none of my website work with the preview now...
Take a look to the screenshoot on this post : www.flexicontent.org/forum/20-general-su....html?start=10#54251

Thanks for the help.

Hi

See: take.ms/wdI2c

It's more than "light" for George to answer that. Joomla never allowed front end URL creation in the backend. It works with Joomla SEf because URL are not stored in database, but cannot work with database-backed SEF extensions of course, as URLs are not stored in database when FC creates them on the fly.

sh404SEF has had an API for some years to deal with that, and I remember discussions about this with Emmanuel, the original FC developer (is he still around?) when he implemented the FC plugin for sh404SEF and I'm pretty sure that code was an FC before:

if (defined('SH404SEF_IS_RUNNING'))
{
$sef = Sh404sefHelperGeneral::getSefFromNonSef($nonSefUrl, $fullyQualified = true, $xhtml = false, $ssl = null);
}

I tested it again just in case, and it works fine for me.

Rgds

Hi again,
First, many thanks for your quick answer :)
I'm going to give your answer to Georges (Flexicontent) : with this, he can maybe help to solve this :)

Thanks again for your help !
Xavier

Georges, how to handle this ? What is the file to look at ?

Hello

if you have v3.0.0 B6b installed, then you can test the change now:

-- save this file locally:
raw.githubusercontent.com/FLEXIcontent/f...s/item/view.html.php
then backup / replace file:
administrator/component/com_flexicontent/views/item/view.html.php

-- or if you have a testing website, you can use:
v3.0.0 BETA7 nightly4
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/releases

Hi Georges,
Great ! It works :)
Just to know, on a V2, the preview is not working (as the V3 is changed only).
I have a site with J3 and FC2 but it is a production site : is the actual V3 can be use on production and is the V3 can update a V2 without a big mess ?
I could try on a copy of the site (i will anyway), but at least, is the update possible or do i forget this ?

Thanks !

Hello

now all multi-items views (except) will use the category view / model / templating
(default behaviour for new installations)

and the SH404SEF plugin was updated to properly support the new URLs of v3 BETA6b / BETA7
(tested and fixed the plugin)

updated plugin is in v3 BETA7 nightly6 and nightly7
you can test it, also v3 BETA7 will be RC and final after bug-fixes

Hello

BETA 7 is not yet good for installation in live sites, only for testing or for developing new websites
you can test it in a development web-site and install it from here:
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/releases
