Filter module does not work on non FC pages

Hi!
When we use filter on non FC pages it displays "No results found"...
But we have preselected target category:

- check setting of category selector
- check if you have locked the value of some filters
- check current language
- check access levels of items

in general make sure that your not filtering out all items

and very relevant here is
the URL that is loaded after form submit

is it the configured category or is it other category ?

I found something.
Module filtering only on root category page.
It not filtering on any other page, including FC.

Now I only need help with this issue.

because for FLEXIcontent category view pages
- the current category is used,
it is not a bug

it says use "selected or current category" !!
so it works as intended

in your scenario
we need option:
- always use select category

right ?

Yes, you are right - always use select category .

But I thought that it should work if sector disabled (1-st mode).

No (use single selected or current category)

so , it works according to current configuration
so with my words "we need a new option"
