Filter module does not work on non FC pages

so in order to install new version , i renamed folder
plugins/flexicontent_fields/addressint
to
plugins/flexicontent_fields/addressint_

you may want to copy some custom layout from:
plugins/flexicontent_fields/addressint_/tmpl
to
plugins/flexicontent_fields/addressint/tmpl

i have looked at it
the module is working

but a different menu item for the category is selected
thus the available items for being listed are different

i am looking at this more

this is happening the filtering module is selecting a menu item with alias :
'recommended'

This menu item points to the category
- but this menu item is configured to only show the "featured" flagged items

thus if you search for the ID of any non featured it , then it will not be shown


About fixing this
- besides a parameter to select a category
- we also need a parameter to select a desired menu item

do this:
1. Temporarily unpublished the 'recommended menu' item
2. Then go to frontend and try to search for an item ID

Please do not modify core file, for custom field layouts , create copies and then edit

i have already changed this,
you can add your custom layouts in the /tmpl/ folder
and then select them in field configuration

i have again renamed the field
also there is now a new parameter in filtering module configuration

you can now select a specific category menu item when you are using a specific single category
