micker,

Thanks for the link to that post!! Commenting out the line in question solved the problem.

The only issues at all I ever encounter with Flexicontent always seem to revolve around phpThumb. Is there any effort going into using a new code set?

Also, is Flexicontent still under active development? Been QUITE some time since we've seen anything!

Thanks!!!
Rick

yes phpthumbs generate some problem ...
yes the new version is on road (for the end off this month i think)
with a lot of feature :
-more option for templating
-more plugin and module
-a lot of bugfix
-more performance
complete compatibility with joomla 1.6 et new ACL without flexiaccess and more feature with.
be patient
regards

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

@micker

some time in local mode (on your comuter) phpthumb may have some problem

hmm... why?? i'm running LAMPP, so configuring it if something wrong would be much easier than any host.

at first try to desactived html clean and test

do you mean set PHP Errors to ON?
they are, and i get no errors.

again, despite what you've suggested, at my case the phpthumb won't generate thumbs at all, because the url placed as the "alt" of the image in my HTML points to file that does not exists.

@metalball

I cannot speak for micker, but I believe what he may be referring to is the option (within the Parameters: <template name> in the Category configuration) that strips HTML tags.

There are two of these, one for the leading items and one for the intro items.

Maybe I am speaking out of turn, but that's what I thought he meant.

Cheers!
Rick
