No difference. With both of them(IE & FF), the hit increments twice by each visit.

i think but no idea
FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I have the same problem. The number of hit always goes up twice.

I found the solution (maybe a bad solution but can solve this issue anyway)

edit file
components -> com_flexicontent -> models -> items.php

about line 286
Code:
if (!$hitcheck) { //record hit //$this->hit();

I just comment line //$this->hit

and it work.
