ahh,

I thought bug with missing 'notify' variable,
in frontend / backend item.xml file
was fixed in v2.0.2 r1680, but it was fixed in r1681

-- validation process clears the notify variable
i patched this installation, so it will work now

-- to use Favourites notification in a different installation please
a. use v2.0.3beta2 (yes it is stable and has no new bugs compared to v2.0.2)

b. and the new notification plugin
