I come to the same error as dmayak, but my Search Areas option on the menu item is "Search Areas: All", without more options

Hello

workaround:
enable showing search areas in FLEXIcontent menu item

besides this "ALL" there is an option to hide / show the areas,

i will review this and provide a permanent fix

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

This is how my Search Areas group looks:

Code:

Search Areas (non-FC Content)

Show selection: No/Yes
Search Areas: All
Show ordering: No/Yes
Default value: Newest first/...

I don´t see a "Hide areas" option, sorry

here is the issue in bug tracker
Issue 620

- will fix together with optimizing the search query of advanced search plugin, like it was done in category view / universal module / items manager / etc
