Long one-time delay in item/category view, after posting new item and updating items

After post new item and saving old items my website has very much time to answer for the first hit (about 8 to 9 sec, rendered after about 1,4 sec later if browser cache is on). Flexicontent cache is on. Without Flexicontent cache -each- hit takes about 8-9 seconds to answer. Is this normal?

It doesn`t matter after which time the hit after saving a post had been taken , it always takes 8-9 seconds. The anser after the second hit takes then about one second. Its also not really fast, but ok for the moment. I think that is not a server prob. I have a likely website on this server with joomla and without flexicontent, that answers after 200ms and is rendered after 1,2s.

Can it be the flexicontent cache will be updated first when the next hit will be taken after saving an item and not directly after saving?

Can you say me a reason for this or is this normal? If this is normal, it would be a great probleme, when often items will be updateted. The item updates would paralyse the website.

you do not mention the FLEXIcontent version that you have
also have you enabled Joomla debug to see the component run time ?

Please do this:
install FLEXIcontent v3.0.10,
and enable FLEXIcontent componetn parameter for performance stats

and look at the report to see if something stands out, we need more specific information to answer you

first please update to v3.0.10 final

i did find an issue, the all category-tree permissions for the guest user are re-calculated (mainly purpose to make item form usable by guest)
(IF YOU HAVE a LARGE number of categories)

the above is triggered if you have the "State selector" Button enabled in item view or in category view

it's time will appear as part of:
[FC "item" view Template Rendering: ... s]
[FC "category" view Template Rendering: ... s]

will try to address permission re-calculation for guest this in v3.0.11
please enable performance stats parameter and confirm

sry, I had installed 3.0.10-rc, now: 3.0.10.

The performace stats:



The "state-selector" seems not to be the main-reason. When I deactivate the selector, the relaod is after resaving an item only 0.5s faster (about 8s).

When I deactivate all Content Lists Filtering Module, the reload after resaving an item is about 0.3s longer than normal reload.



The filter search module seems to be the reason.

item counting in filter values can be costly but not so much

how many items do you have ?
and how many filters ?

sry, the items are not public, you have to log you in frontpage with the same account to see the category-view and items. the login field you can find in the sidebar (left).

At the bottom on each item you can see a edit link (icon) to the backend to edit them.

menu, category selector and filters are also in the sidebar
