Hello

what you see is not related to RSSEO

and you do not need RSSEO to be able to use these characters

- just after enabling setting "Unicode Aliases"

you need to
1. re-edit items that you want to update their alias
2. and make alias field empty
3. click save

you see when an alias is already created re-saving the form will not change the alias
in order to change it , you need to make it empty and then save

Hello ggppdk,

I´ve already tried the following:

- enabling "unicode aliases" in the main configuration
- clearing cache (both joomla and browser cache)
- creating a new article with Flexicontent
- changing an existing article (removing alias and saving it again)

None of those steps helped getting the URL´s fixed, that´s why I currently use RSSEO. I know this is not the best way but I need proper URL´s. I don´t need the "Umlaut"-character itself but the written-out form; means "ü" is "ue", "ö" is "oe" and "ä" is "ae".

Best regards
Torsten

Hello,

many thanks for taking the time to test it on your server.

I know it should work without a SEF extension but as I don´t know for the moment how to fix this I leave it with RSSEO.

Best regard
Torsten
