GLOBAL_CONFIGURATION REFRESH

Hi,
I had install FLEXIcontent 2.0 on J2.5 and UPDATE accordingly. But i had problem refreshing this.

I follow the step but the msg was still there..

it say "Please open and save GLOBAL_CONFIGURATION. Then REFRESH and this message will disapear ."

Hello, which version of FLEXIcontent?

What version of PHP are you using?
Currently (FC r1601) there is an issue with FLEXIcontent on PHP 5.4.4.
The configuration pop-up cannot be viewed or saved.

or after clicking save you still see the message?

I download the latest one which is v2.0 RC9b r1601 for J2.5

I just check my server is using PHP version 5.2.17, they will only update to 5.3 (maybe on MAY)


not matter how i save open.. it still have the refresh msg. I checked on the other post. Not sure isit must update the PHP 5.3 to solve this issue?

is there any other solution? as i dont want to install Joomla 1.5 to fix this problem.

What browser are you using?
Have you tried a different browser?

Try IE and firefox not working.

my question is if you get the popup (which displays the configuration options)

by your answer i guess that you the popup , but after clicking save you are asked again to open and save

The problem is (probably) that your WEB server truncates the form-posted configuration data , thus nothing is saved.

Go Joomla Backend Menu Item:
System Information / PHP information tab

Search for:
post_max_size

What is its value?
Try increasing it with an entry in your .htaccess in joomla folder:

php_value post_max_size 20000000

Besides the above reason

- open DB with phpmyadmin, check if table #_extensions is marked as crashed and repair it
- open DB with phpmyadmin , and click to see the structure (schema) of table #_extensions , is the column 'params' of type text ??
- Try using a different PHP version or different server

oh sorry. Yes it has a popup, but i think cannot be save.

I check the post_max_size is 8M,

I now try to edit the size. brb
