Hi,
Yes it is ;) You will have to use the upcoming module to perform that. Here are some screenshots:

This upcoming module will allow you to realise complex magazine display inside an item view thanks to a new field type which will allow you to load a module instance inside an item:

The result is here, this is an items view which have the behavior of a multi-type & multicategory view (without modifying anything in FLEXIcontent's core). All the blue headers are content types coming from multiple categories:

I'm sure it will meet your custumer's requirements.
But you will have to be a little patient as I didn't finish the default generic templates for the module.

Cheers,
Emmanuel.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

That looks great!

Do we know how long it will be before it will go live?
[Our site will be going live within the next 4 weeks]

Also - how would someone go about templating for those multiple content types? Obviously it would be one template - but pulling only specific values for each type of content and then turning around and styling them.

Thanks!

assigne each template
drag and drop only your wanted field on your template

Wow, this is what I really need :)

We're working in a community project that will need to pull info from 5 categories and display them in one page.

I wasn't able to see the screen shots, maybe the service is down but from what Emmanuel says, it looks very promising :)

Thanks a lot and keep us posted :)

Hey Guys, Hey Manu,

Do you plan, in your multi use module, to allow a selection of articles which are linked with "select_flexiitem et select flexi_item_reverse" ?

That important for my site. If yes, I will wait, if not, I have to find another way to do that :
www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic

Thanks in advance.
