No, I mean:

Search view print the value present in jos_flexicontent_items_ext column search_index - Not the item description.

Our problem:

If we edit an item the new value for search_index its not recalculated

Advanced Search view shows descriptions of an outdated item description(retrieved from search_index!!)

In Advanced Search view if we click the item the resulting item view is correct

So, the problem is that we cant recalculate the new search_index value when saving an item.

How can we solve this?

search uses exactly this column the search-index,

but this column in the table #__flexicontent_items_ext should be updated on every save.

do you use versioning?
is the new version approved when you save the item, i mean is the one saving the item able to publish and thus able to change item current version?

Yes, we use versioning.

All editing in backend by super-administrator
and Auto-approve versions is ON

Yes the search_index in FLEXIcontent extended table that usually includes only title and text is not updated properly, will fix very soon

This is not used by latest standard search plugin but it is used by advanced search plugin and by backend items manager

Upgraded to r1346, Bug its still there.

Editing an item wont update search_index
