Hello,
I can't bring up the" submit an article" frontend button.
I searched throughout the forum and tutorials,
I checked one by one all the rights settings (config joomla, config flexicontent, config category, config type).I created a menu link "create an article" assigned to the desired category and config "display the button" in the menu and in the category.
But at the display the button "submit an article" does not appear! What would I have forgotten?thank you in advanceBrigitte

Hello

to show it by default in all category views

1. Go to component parameters by clicking "Configuration" button in backend dashboard
2. Select TAB "Category views"
3. Select (sub-) TAB "Header" and then (sub-) TAB "Buttons"
4. Under "Add new item"  section
  a. click 'Show'
  b. select to use a specific (Flexicontent) submit MENY ITEM , in which you can configure the behaviour of the new item form ...

Note:  (or do not enable globally)
and inside the configuration of some categories
- you can select to override show the "Add item" button and also select a different SUBMIT Menu Item

usually you will enable / configure the button for a top level category and then the subcategories will inherit the configuration ...

Thank you very much for your help
Now that's ok.
(I think I had set too many rights despite common sense.)

Good evening,I find the same problem
I thought that my template was in question so I made a clean installation of joomla 3 with the basic template: protostar without any additional extension. Can not create the "Submit an article" button. In desperation I allowed all rights of joomla, flexicontent, category, type.I followed the procedure you gave me.Nothing to do.It remains for me to solicit you. I am attaching a link to this test site:  joomla-3.lerozel2.odns.fr/index.php/annuaire If you have time to tell me where to look ... I do not know what to do.Thanks in advanceBrigitte

Hello,

I still can not display the submit button as a frontend. I used your previous message but also everything I could find on your site.

Did you receive my MP?

When you have time ... thank you

Brigitte
