Example:

I want to link to (category view):
www.muenstermann.com/de/uebersic ... osten.html

JCE puts in the following link (category view with menu item alias "neuigkeiten", category id is 199):
index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=item&cid=199:neuigkeiten&id=1190:45-filterkoepfe-fuer-den-nahen-osten&Itemid=543

Clicking on the link in leads to:
www.muenstermann.com/de/site-con ... osten.html

There is actually no menu item selected!

Hello

i see that the default menu item 453 (/site-content/) is selected, right?

- but you want the menu item that points to category 199 to be selected, correct ?

is this menu item (that points to category 199) really selectable ?
remember discussion about
-a- access level
-b- and language
of menu item and of its parents
-c- or have associations (this menu item and its parents for language DE)

-- in short it looks like this:
the FLEXIcontent SEF url creation is called properly but the desirable menu item is not selected for some reason,

-- can i test this with the access that you sent me about language switching ?

just please send me instructions:
1. how to find the menu item in backend:
it is inside MENU "menu-name"
menu item is called "menu-item" and has ID (menu item id) nnn
2. In frontend the menu item can be found by clicking "this" and then "this"
3. How to create the link in the item form , click "there" then find category "CAT_a" then item "ITEM_a"

Regards

Hi,
I investigated a little bit further. Adding a link with the advanced link plugin for JCE creates a link like this:
Code:
index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=item&cid=220:aktuelle-und-interessante-projekte-thermoprozessanlagen&id=966:durchlauftrockner-fuer-vw&Itemid=543
which is not working (item is loosing its modules in category view). Deleting the last bit
Code:
&Itemid=543
makes to link work correctly again if an category view is existent.
Code:
index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=item&cid=220:aktuelle-und-interessante-projekte-thermoprozessanlagen&id=966:durchlauftrockner-fuer-vw
