Create and link custom field 'Author' to CB user profile

I have opened this issue

will look at it during this week together with 1 or 2 other issues
and give a link with new version

did you fix this issue and did you add "Authored Items" to the new Flexicontent field ?

Currently I can't get it to work!  Please, could you configure it in my website ?

currently testing v3.2.1.15-rc with some bug-fixes
will release v3.2.1.15 at end of this week

about linking of course you can link to CB profile instead
please do not do anything yet
i will configure it in your website and then also add this case to the new Flexicontent field that will be in 3.3.0 version
i will tell you when it is good for you to review it
basically i will
- changed the type of your existing 'Author profile' field from type 'select' to type 'text'
- create a new custom layout for it value_cb_author_profile_link.php

I'm waiting so long for new stable and functional version v3.2.1.15. with improvements like "Authored Items" to a new Flexicontent field in the Core package.
Did you fix this issue to link 'User Profile link' FC to CB profile ?
when it will release? Is it near?
