.
Just remembered to apply for this today . . .

Per the guidelines here:
community.joomla.org/connect/get-connected.html

I sent an email to them today as follows:

To: "JoomlaConnect" <connect@community.joomla.org>
Subject: Adding FLEXIcontent RSS feed to JoomlaConnect

We would like to have news and announcements regarding the FLEXIcontent project appear in JoomlaConnect.

The feed source is this page: www.flexicontent.org/blog.html

Please add the following RSS feed.

Feed URL: www.flexicontent.org/blog.feed?type=rss

Primary language: English

Description: News and announcements regarding the FLEXIcontent CCK project

Contact email: kenmcd2003@gmail.com

Feed name: FLEXIcontent CCK Blog

Thanks.

It would be great to have the upcoming announcements about FC 1.5.6 and FC 2.0 appear on JoomlaConnect and in the worldwide RSS feed.
So let's see what they have to say about that!

great news!!!
thanks

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

The feed has been approved.
So FLEXIcontent Blog posts will now appear on JoomlaConnect.
It goes to the Extension Developers page here
community.joomla.org/connect.html
and that feeds the main page here
community.joomla.org/connect.html

This is the response received:

Hello
Your requested feed has been added to the
community.joomla.org/connect/en/extension-developers.html

Please allow time for the feed to be parsed, and note that acceptance of a
feed does not guarantee that all posts from that feed will be published on
JoomlaConnect. Individual items may be unpublished at our discretion
especially if the feed is primarily not Joomla! related
If you change your feed URL or make a major change to your content, please
let us know

Guidelines are published at
community.joomla.org/connect/get-connected.html

Claire Mandville
Joomla Community Connect Administrator

All posts should have a title which works anywhere.
And the first paragraph (~350 characters) should summarize the entire post.

JoomlaConnect outgoing RSS feeds appear on many other websites.
This means FLEXIcontent news will now appear on many other Joomla community websites.
:D

Also the JoomlaConnect feed is used in the Joomla 2.5 sample data.
So all demo websites will display FLEXIcontent news.
