FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Update:

I have realized a large piece of this puzzle, but am not sure how to finish it up. I was able to determine that 3 article images (out of a total of 16 articles possible) now come up in the FlexiTags result tables. (See www.summitdads.info/Tags/Parenting-Time.html )

The reason these 3 show up is that these images are embedded into the article. Those articles only having images assigned to them do not show up.

How do I configure FlexiTags to pull the assigned image, even if an article does not have the image embedded into the article itself? This would resolve my issue.

hello maybe you can see and compare with categori_item.php of blog template to see how to extract image to field (sorry i am not a dev :oops: )
and adapt code to tagpage

Absolutely the same problem here!
I use FLEXIcontent version 1.5.4 stable (r558)

In a tag view a table with results appears and I expect in "image" row to see the relevant FLEXIcontent-image. Instead of this that table cell remains empty. An image in it appears only if I have such image in the description. But it is not the expected FLEXIconten-image, it is just the first image (if there are several) from the article body.

I found where the problem comes from, but I am not developer, so please open:
../components/com_flexicontent/views/tags/tmpl/default.php
and look at lines 80-87.
Line 83 is:
<img src="<?php echo JURI::base(); ?>components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php?src=<?php echo JURI::base(true) . '/' .$src . $conf; ?>" />

Probably there is something wrong in
../components/com_flexicontent/librairies/phpthumb/phpThumb.php
but I am not able to find it.

There is a validation bug for ie8 that is fixed in v1.5.6

in file:
administrator\components\com_flexicontent\assets\js\validate.js
find funcntion:

About other stuff of tags no time to look now, i ll put something on bug tracker to check later
