Yes!

I want to filter the entries from module configuration(Backend) For example if the word "MYWORD" exists in the field (or is exactly "MYVALUE") the item will be shown in the module in the frontend (or not)

Yes I think you are getting there.

I want to only show items where the custom fielt BRANDS(text field) has a values of: FORD (value)

Sometimes we use only 1 category for example CARS and use the fields to differentiate the items. But the Module does not allow to filter per custom field with a fixed value.

Unfortunately thus will come later, currently work is done for finalizing search view to make final version

For text field it is easy to add a join that add a

LIKE %text_field_value%


but then we will also want to add greater , less than etc


then later on we could add category filters to flexicontent module for display to frontend,
possibly with AJAX reloading ? to only reload module ?

anyway just thinking out
