FlexiContent from SVN

Imagine having a category view with a 100 items, creating all fields of them and running content plugins on all of them it will take 20-30 seconds for the page to be created. In the item view the effect is very small.

With new version you 3 options (since you don't use category view):
1. Either inform the system which fields you want to "render"(=create display of) by putting them in a template position in the item view
2. Or inside all your item.php files before doing "echo" on the fields , call : FlexicontentFields::getFieldDisplay($this->item,'myfieldname1');
and then:
echo $this->fields->display;
3. Set in global configuration of FC (At performance options) set Parameter "Always create field html" to be "Only in items view"

For 3 please update to latest SVN version

Me again. I've updated from 1.5.5 to 1.5.6 and realise the update breaks the way templates are associated to contents.

Every single content previously related to custom templates is now related to a strange "default[1]" template.

FC 1.5.6 beta for usability reasons displays the template in the item Manager List as a new column. But when template is not set for an item, it is miss-reporting the template.

When template is not set for an item, the Template from the item's Type must be reported as item's template. Instead the template "default" is reported as Item's template.

Will fix soon.

The new template column in in item Manager list is now fixed for v1.5.6 and was added to v2.0 too

hi. thanks for developing this nice component
but this beta is non usable for me :
after submit item from frontend i try edit this from front and get fatall error:
Call to a member function get() on a non-object in Z:\home\j17_new\www\components\com_flexicontent\views\item\view.html.php on line 336

and on category view there are tonns of notice:

and in both template i cant see data from 'description' field - all i get is title and emptiness
