The 1.5.6 version is for J1.5 and is a lot stable, except maybe a couple of bugs in the new features.

The 2.0 version is for J1.6/J1.7

For 1.5.6 beta use build.xml to build an installable zip

For 2.0 beta , JUST zip the folder (if you know how to skip .svn folders, do it to make the zip file smaller, but this is not so important)

Me again. I've updated from 1.5.5 to 1.5.6 and realise the update breaks the way templates are associated to contents.

Every single content previously related to custom templates is now related to a strange "default[1]" template.

Furthermore I got a white page while loading "new content" and "edit content" pages.

I've browsed sql tables but can't find the right one.
I understand it is a dev version so no worries I won't ask for support, but could you give me a hint on which sql table I'm supposed to look into ?

Almost nothing is change about templating, only a new function is available. The new advanced ALPHA-INDEX i have not put it yet on the 1.5.6

For usability reasons a new column was added in the items & category manager to display the assigned template. If the code cannot find template inside the attributes of the item it will display default[1], maybe the parsing of attributes has a bug and is misreporting the template.

YOUR TEMPLATE setting have not been changed !!!

Awesome Ggppdk, creating/editing is back, thanks!

And my mistake about templates, they are indeed correctly loaded.

What is not loaded are the fields, inside templates AND universal modules.
So there is no text on the frontend site.

I've checked the backend, every relations are ok (fields to types, types to templates, fields in templates). The "display fields" function in the types page shows proper fields.

So everything looks okay on backend, but no fields displayed on frontend.

note: I did not create any xml files in my templates folder, maybe it has something to do with that.
