Hello,
v2.0.1a will be a lot sooner if no more bugs are reported for v2.0.1

v2.0.1 only has so far 2 reported issues so far (and one more for J1.5)
1. (Form JS validation error in CSV import)
2. Ordering Groups in items manager when selecting single category

To Test import of what i suggested above try this image plugin file (rename & replace existing one)

Unfortunately, I have already imported nearly two thousand records, and then hand edited about 200 or so via the backend.

So I can't import anymore. :(

What I would like to do is maybe just create about 2000 sql statements that would update based upon a unique field in the database to add a relative or absolute url to an image.

I have all my images in both a relative folder images/video-thumbs and also on my S3 server.

In your image field you need an option to just select an image in the standard joomla image directory.

Hello,

In your image field you need an option to just select an image in the standard joomla image directory.

Please explain this,
since each image/gallery field allows you to select a specific folder TOP for placing the images

-- Also note the advantage of the new v2.0+ "Folder" Mode for image gallery field:

- file management with thumbnailing and filtering
- isolation per item id + field id,

the above combined with
a. sortable placement and
b. various image properties,
c. 5 selection of popup gallery JS libs
greatly helps for creating item specific galleries in a smooth way

About import, of course as you said and i said it is not implemented for folder mode

Regards

Well in my case I think of an image field as primarily just a single image. So I would want an image selector just like what comes with the Joomla content image button on the bottom of the article entry.

I can get someone to go into each item and select an image one at a time. I almost could use putting an image in the content of the article but I don't want to see it in the item view, just in the listing views.

OK -

So I used your file manager to scan the directory and it inserted all the images. Then I go to edit my item, and in my image field, the popup only shows one image. It was a test image I uploaded through the field itself and not through the file manager.

The field is set as db image. Is this a bug?
