Did it work?

and the filter is applied in the SQL statement, if you also make the filter visible and also the value exists in current item listing (at least one item has it) then it will also appear as selected inside the filter

Sorry, I don't know understand.
How can I make the filter temporarily visible while testing?
In result, one record should be displayed at least, right?

Hello,

1.
your persistent filter should use a 'value' of the field and not the 'label' of the 'value'
so your filter should be:
54##4
and not
54##Wagon SUV

i changed this in out test case and it works properly

2. about 'visible filter':
while testing to see if the persistent filter is applied,
go to parameters slider
"Parameters: Alpha-Index, Search, Filters"
and enabled "Use filters" and select filter no 54
(i added this to your menu item, please disable it after testing)

3. I found a bug, the Menu Items variable 'cids' is not always a string it is an array when you access the menu item directly via:
mysite.com/?Itemid=329

i applied a fix in your and the fix will be in v2.0.3 final too

4. For menu item "multi categories" you need to set a page title under menu item parameters slider
"Page Display Options"

Regards

Hello,

Thanks for your help, It is now working :D ... didn't know that I put label instead of value..

But there are 2 problems..

1. Itemid in item view

When I go to one persistent filter menu, I see list of items. At this time, the itemid in URL is 330.
But If I click the item to see its details, Itemid still remains same Itemid=330. Will I be able to change this to my original menu itemid?
My original menu Itemid is 118 and this menu is created as directory view(Car Brand Lists, as you can see in previous image.)

2. No Image in item list view.

No image is displayed in item list view.
I have double checked my template(chuukosya-blog-category) settings in category configuration but everything looks OK.

And I think I have found a bug.
I have set leading block to 0, but leading block is used.

About
SEF urls and selection of current active menu item it is explained in our FAQ:

www.flexicontent.org/documentati ... -urls.html

About category layout of blog template , you cannot set the image via the MULTI-category menu item, there are no parameters there

Both issues you report about blog is because the default parameter values are used
and this due to the fact that you cannot use template parameters in the menu item

And you are warn of this in the popup description when selecting menu item for multi-categories menu item

but can set the parameters manually inside the template file:
