e.g. your first row needs to field-names and NOT field labels !
aka "created_by" and not "Created By"
aka "state" and not "Published"

This is how the export tool generated the file.
I haven't found any export configuration option to export field names instead of labels.

Please see attached file.

Hello

the export and import features were developed independently
the exported data is not a direct match for the import task

in order for import to work
you need to do things like change the first line to be field names instead of field labels

To export the id
1. create a new field of type CORE-property field type
(and assign it to the desirable item types or to ALL item types)
2. Configure in it to display "ID"
3. Enable CSV export in it

I've followed this method and got an export file with the id column.
Nonetheless, the import tool keeps saying that the id column is missing.

Thanks.

Hello

please configure these to match your import file format
- record separator
- field separator

then the import file format ... will be parsed properly and the ID column (and all other columns) will be ... "found"

Default export format is this so configure it for import
Code:
Field Separator \t Field Encloser Character " Item Separator \n

Is it possible to set Export format options anywhere?

Without changing anything, the CSV file I'm getting uses a comma as field delimiter and double quotes (") as item separator.
When I configure the Import tool with matching delimiters, it still complains about a missing id column.

Bonjour, les items sont bien importés mais pas les contenus comme la "description" par exemple!

Hello, the items are well imported but not the contents like the "description" for example!
