I have same problem.
We are doing toys directory with FlexiContent and each item have several tags.
When user visiting any category, module should displays tags from current category and child categories.
But module displays static tags on any page.
This behavior makes this module useless.
Is it possible to display the tags of the current and child categories in some other way?

and you are also displaying the tags-clould module

you are speaking of showing tags that belong to items that are assigned to the currently view category (to category A) ?

(and optionally to its sub-categories too)

P.S. This feature very extends the site navigation capabilities.

Similar option placed in FLEXIcontent - Universal Content but for items.
