And it's much better : Now, the result of a search via module looks like the one with the menu item search: advanced Options can be hidden, filter are well displayed... great!

please (in field configuration) also check alternative appearance e.g. (multi-toggle button= checkboxes or date picker range for date field etc ...)

walkyripa wrote: However, i still encounter some problems
1. The results aren't the same : when i look for "test" with the module, i found 76 results, in different categories, whereas i only want the results of ONE category, which is selected in the menu item parameters (this one works well, and give me 15 results).

but search menu item has no option to limit search to a specific category, so you need to explain this, is this is menu item a search menu item or is not? (search module has a parameter to use the configuration of search menu item= this menu item gets ACTIVATED when user clicks search button in the search module)

walkyripa wrote: 2. The display of result isn't as defined in the menu item : for example 'fc_search_result_fields' aren't displayed...

the information included in the results list of the search, is configured in the SEARCH menu item, and you can also include custom fields,
so what do you meant with this?

Regards

In fact, the only filter i use is categories and type of content. Nothing to add, then, i think...?

Yes, you are right : it's a FC search menu item (index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=search), and the filter i apply is on the TYPE (not the CATEGORY, my mistake). And the FC search module (mod_flexiadvsearch) is well linked to the fc search menu with the ID of this item (Custom menu itemid)...

2 screen captures to show what i mean :

Here is the result using the menu item link (url of the result page : www.mysite.fr/recherche-avancee?searchword=test ) :

<!-- ia1 -->c1.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:3j1l2sot]

And here the result if i use the search module (url of the result page : www.mysite.fr/recherche-avancee?searchword=test , the same, so):

<!-- ia0 -->c2.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:3j1l2sot]

As you can see, both numbers of results and fields displayed are different...

best regards!

Hello

please test without the joomla template override
e.g. temporarily rename folder 'search' that contains the overridden files

Hi,

I just tried that (but the only file i modified was default_result.php) but without difference in the result...

By the way, you told me in mp (with an older version of FC "when you update to v2.0.2 ,please remember to go to Component Configuration and set this menu item id there !". That's what i done...

Does the fact that in the site there are 2 differents FC search menu items, and 2 FC search modules (each one linked to one FC menu item) can have a link to the problem?

Thanks
