Does the search and advanced search works?

Sounds great — the reason I'm using AceSearch is because I need the search suggestions, and I think that their algorithm is pretty good.

Would I need to swap 'category' with something like 'flexi_category', or are FlexiContent's categories based on Joomla's own categories?

it think acesearch isn't very important ..
because finder is the futur search of joomla 2.5
i think a plugin for finder is good for futur

You might be right about that — it would be awesome to rely on Joomla's standard search instead of a 3rd party plugin. Would it require a lot of change to FlexiContent's search plugin to work with Joomla Finder from version 2.5?

Have not looked at it yet, but don't see reason why we cannot adapt to it

Joomla 2.5 is out along with the new Smart Search plugin. It finds all the content within FlexiContent but routes to the wrong link (like 'component/content/category/12-intranet/employees'). What would need to be changed in order to use FlexiContent's SEF URLs, like 'intra/personale' instead?

Plugin Search - Flexicontent standard search works very well, except not searched in category name. When plugin Search - Categories is enabled, the names of categories are show in search results, but links are site.com/component/content/category/ ... .

The plugin ADV Search - FLEXIcontent show this error:
Fatal error: Cannot access protected property FLEXIcontentViewSearch::$_models in /home/.../public_html/components/com_flexicontent/controller.php on line 1061.

witch version ? RC3 ?

The last things to fix/TEST in FC v2.0 are some ACL changes and last bugs of advanced search.

I have to stop for next couple of days but will do it very soon ... final version is close
