[Plugins] Link content inside Flexicontent

It's great, thanks. but I have a suggestion for enhancing user interface. When you have many songs and singers, It's a bit difficult to select arbitrary singer(s) or song(s) with present interface. Besides, if you have songs classified in genres, then you can't filter them when you are to select them. I suggest sth like flexicontent configuration window.
I hope you get what I mean.

I've a question. Imagine we have two types, Articles, Authors and in some articles we have author plus translator. Well I create two select item fields named "Author" and "Translator" for the article type. And in the author type I create two reverse item fields for written ones and translated ones. The problem is in the author pages that only name of the article is shown while I want it to show article name plus author and translator. Can I do it?
For example I have a story "Twilight" by "John Campbell", translated by "Fesghel". In Campbell page it's this way:
________________Twilight
and I want it this way:
________________Twilight | John Campbell/Fesghel

How can I do such a thing? Can I?
I will appreciate it if you help me.

Thanks for your comments. This plugin needs lot of enhancements (filter items by categories, or field value, ...)

I have to work on it... but i don't have enough time to do it soon.

For your second post : for now it's impossible to load fields by this plugin. I'm looking for an efficient way to do that.

I've another question. The order of the names in the select box, is alphabetical right? The problem is that it's not completely true. I mean I've names in UFT-8 and some of orders are wrong. For example, Adam is after Bernard. How can I fix it?

Your welcome. That's solved. I changed place of field and value in template/item.php, though for category view It didn't work.
For view issue, I took a look in other CCKs and found Zoo. It's created a template mode for this. I mean plus item view and category view, it has a "related" view, that manages it and you can configure it just like item and category views. Do you have any plans for it?

Honestly, a while ago I tried to code a plugin based on your work here. My goal is to show the number of contents that is linked to the item grouped by specific cats in the category view. I mean in your own example suppose we have all singers in a category called singers. And for the songs we have different cats such as pop, rock, R&B and so on. I wanted to show something like this in the category view:

Singer 1
---Pop 2
---Rock 5

Singer 2
---R & B 3
---Hip Hop 3
...

I changed your fields a bit and edited queries and of course XMLs, but when I installed it, in the backend for Singer pages I got a message said:
"Please publish the FLEXIcontent fields plugins"
What's the problem? Can you help me with it?


Oh, here( www.flexicontent.org/developers- ... y-out.html ) in the last paragraph it said:
"We are working now on a resources directory to gather all the user contributed extensions, snippets, templates and tutorials that you can already find on the forum.."
Are your extensions gonna to be included in this?
